Disclaimer
Please read this before starting any project from Glow Studio DIY.
General information only
Everything published on Glow Studio DIY is offered for general information and creative inspiration. We write our projects carefully and make them ourselves, but we cannot know your materials, your tools, your workspace or your level of experience.
You are responsible for deciding whether a project is appropriate for you, and for carrying it out safely.
Do it yourself means at your own risk
Our projects may involve resin and epoxy, adhesives, paints and solvents, glass, crystals, heat, blades and other sharp tools, and small parts. Used carelessly, these can cause injury, damage property, or produce fumes that should not be inhaled.
By following any project on this website, you accept that you do so at your own risk. Glow Studio DIY accepts no liability for injury, loss or damage resulting from the use or misuse of the information published here.
Always follow the manufacturer instructions
Resins, epoxies, adhesives, paints, pigments and sealants vary between brands and between product generations. The safety data and mixing, curing and handling instructions supplied with the product you actually bought always take priority over anything written here.
Work in a well-ventilated space. Use gloves, eye protection, a suitable respirator and surface protection where the product or the technique calls for it.
Children and pets
Many of our projects can be adapted for younger makers, but tools, heat, glass, small parts and uncured chemicals need adult handling and close supervision. Keep materials, offcuts and curing pieces away from children and animals.
Results will vary
Colour, cure time, clarity, finish and durability all depend on your materials, your measurements and the temperature and humidity of your workspace. A project that looks a certain way in our photographs may look different when you make it. That is normal, and part of making things by hand.
Not professional advice
Nothing on this website is professional, medical, structural, electrical or legal advice. If a project touches on something outside ordinary craft work — for example wiring, anything load-bearing, or a health concern about a material — please consult a qualified professional.
External links and products
Where we mention a tool or material, we are describing what we used. We do not control other websites or retailers, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing or products.

At the time this page was last updated, Glow Studio DIY was not running third-party advertising and had no affiliate relationships in place.
