Beautiful projects,
made to be displayed.

Glow Studio DIY is a creative space for beautiful, display-worthy DIY projects inspired by light, texture, nature, and thoughtful design.

OUR APPROACH

Would we be happy to display this?

At Glow Studio DIY, every project begins with a simple question: would we be happy to display this in our own home?

Our tutorials focus on approachable techniques, thoughtful material choices, and polished results. You’ll find projects involving resin, glass, crystals, pressed flowers, decorative surfaces, light-catching materials, and modern home decor.

We value craftsmanship over speed, and timeless ideas over chasing every trend.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE PROJECTS

Hi, I’m Victoria Hayes.

I’m the founder and creative director of Glow Studio DIY, where I share beautiful handmade projects inspired by light, texture, nature, and thoughtful design.

With more than 15 years of experience in mixed media, decorative arts, and interior styling, I specialise in transforming accessible materials into polished pieces that feel worthy of display. My work often combines resin, glass, crystal, pressed botanicals, and modern home decor techniques.

My goal is simple: when you arrive here looking for something to make, I want you to leave with a piece you are proud to put on a shelf, a wall, or in someone else’s hands.

OUR CREATIVE PHILOSOPHY

What guides every project we publish

Handmade can feel luxurious without being expensive.

Good design begins with simplicity.

Quality matters more than quantity.

Light and texture are part of the design.

Creativity should feel rewarding rather than rushed.

Every project should feel worthy of display or gifting.

Timeless style matters more than chasing every viral trend.

SAFETY & RESPONSIBILITY

Making things safely

01

Read the materials list first

Projects here may involve resin, adhesives, glass, heat, sharp tools and other materials that need responsible handling. Check what a project needs before you start.

02

Follow the manufacturer instructions

Resins, epoxies, paints and adhesives vary between brands. The instructions on the product you actually bought always take priority over ours.

03

Ventilate and protect

Work in a well-ventilated space and use appropriate gloves, eye protection and surface protection where the product or the technique calls for it.

04

Supervise children

Many projects can be adapted for younger makers, but tools, heat, glass and curing chemicals need adult handling and supervision.

TRUST & TRANSPARENCY

You should know who is behind the projects you follow.

Every tutorial on Glow Studio DIY is credited to the person who made it, and this page exists so you can see who we are and how we work.

If something in a project is unclear, or you spot an error, please tell us. Reader questions are how a tutorial becomes genuinely useful.
