  • 4 pieces Tea light candles To place inside the completed holders.
  • 4 pieces Battery-operated LED candles (optional) A safe alternative for a longer-lasting glow.

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by cleaning your glass jars thoroughly, removing any labels or residue. Set the jars aside to dry completely.
  2. Cut the tissue paper into various shapes and sizes like squares or triangles. Aim for smaller pieces for better manageability.
Application
  1. Using your brush or sponge applicator, apply a thin layer of Mod Podge to the area of the jar where you will place the tissue paper.
  2. Place the cut pieces of tissue paper onto the glued area, slightly overlapping them for a layered look.
  3. Continue to apply Mod Podge over the top of the tissue paper to seal it down and allow each section to dry before moving on.
Finishing Touches
  1. Once all areas are covered, apply an additional layer of Mod Podge over the entire surface to enhance colors.
  2. Allow the candle holders to dry completely.
  3. Carefully place either a tea light candle or a battery-operated LED candle inside each holder.

Notes

Experiment with different color combinations and consider adding embellishments like lace or ribbons for a more intricate finish. Store the candle holders in a cool, dry place to avoid breakage.
