Creating the Ornament
- Arrange the crystal beads on a flat surface to visualize how your ornament will look. Experiment with different bead patterns and colors until you’re happy with the design.
- Cut a length of fishing line that is long enough to accommodate all your beads with a little extra for tying. This should leave you enough length to attach to your ornament hook later.
- Begin attaching the crystal beads to the fishing line using the strong adhesive. Make sure to leave space between each bead to allow for flexibility in movement. Allow the glue to dry according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Once your crystals are secured and dry, create a loop at the top of your fishing line, and attach it to a metal ornament hook.
- Check that all beads are secure and that the loop is sturdy enough for hanging. Adjust any beads if necessary, and your ornament is ready for display.
Notes
Mix and match different color beads for a more dynamic and festive feel. Ensure the glue dries fully before moving the ornament to prevent any accidental detachment. Keep your crystals sorted by size or color during the process to make assembling easier.
