Materials
  • 5 pieces Clear acrylic prism pencils Catch and refract light beautifully.
  • 1 length Fishing line For hanging your suncatcher.
  • 3 pieces Suction cups To attach your suncatcher securely to the window.
  • 1 bottle Heavy-duty craft adhesive To ensure everything holds together perfectly.
  • optional Decorative beads To add extra flair.
Tools
  • 1 piece Pair of scissors For trimming the fishing line.
  • 1 piece Small paintbrush For applying adhesive (optional).

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Clear a section of your work surface and lay down protective covering like newspaper or a silicone mat.
Design Arrangement
  1. Lay out the acrylic prism pencils and beads on your work surface. Experiment with different arrangements.
Assembly
  1. Using heavy-duty craft adhesive, attach the pencils to each other based on your design. Press firmly to avoid damage and allow to dry completely.
  2. Cut a length of fishing line long enough to reach from the top of your window to where you want the suncatcher to hang. Secure it to the top prism with adhesive.
  3. If desired, add decorative beads along the fishing line before attaching it to the window.
  4. Use a suction cup to fix the top of the fishing line to your window, ensuring it is mounted securely.

Notes

Ensure that you allow each component to dry fully for durability. Choose a window that receives ample sunlight for maximum rainbow effect. Avoid using too much glue to keep the project neat.
