  • 1 pack Fall-colored tissue paper Shades like orange, red, and yellow for vibrant effects.
  • 1 bottle Mod Podge For adhering the tissue paper and sealing the project.
  • 1 pieces Scissors To cut the paper into shapes.
  • 1 pieces Paintbrushes For applying glue evenly.
  • 1 length String or fishing line For hanging the finished suncatchers.

  • 1 pieces Craft knife For precision cutting, if desired.
  • 1 pieces Hole punch To make holes for easy hanging.
  • 1 pieces Sponge For smoothing out wrinkles in tissue paper.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare the workspace by protecting surfaces with newspaper or a plastic cover.
  2. Clean the acrylic discs to ensure the surface is free from dust or fingerprints.
Crafting
  1. Cut the fall-colored tissue paper into leaf shapes or preferred designs.
  2. Apply a layer of Mod Podge to the back of the tissue paper pieces.
  3. Carefully place the tissue paper onto the acrylic discs, smoothing out any wrinkles.
  4. Once the tissue is adhered, brush a layer of Mod Podge over the top to seal the design.
  5. Allow the Mod Podge to dry completely, then use a hole punch to create a hole at the top of each suncatcher.
Finishing
  1. Thread string through the hole and hang the suncatcher in a place where sunlight can illuminate it.
  2. Enjoy the vibrant colors and patterns that reflect sunlight into your space.

Notes

Experiment with different color palettes, metallic papers, or glitters for added sparkle. Hang in locations with direct sunlight to enhance the visual effects.
