Preparation

Crafting
  1. Start by cleaning the candle holder base thoroughly to ensure that the adhesive will stick properly.
  2. Once the base is clean and dry, apply a thin layer of adhesive to the area where you want to apply the gold leaf.
  3. Carefully place the gold leaf over the adhesive, using your brush to press it down gently.
  4. After the gold leaf has dried, use the sealer to protect your candle holder. Apply it evenly and let it dry completely.
  5. If needed, lightly sand any rough edges for a polished look.

Notes

Work in a well-ventilated area, be patient during the drying process, and experiment with layering for a textured look.
