Preparation
- Trim your flowers to the desired length and remove any leaves that would sit below the waterline.
- Lay the flowers out in an aesthetically pleasing arrangement that you can see through the mold.
Freezing Layers
- Fill the mold halfway with water and let freeze for about 2-3 hours.
- Once frozen, gently place your flowers on top in your desired arrangement.
- Pour additional water to cover the flowers completely and freeze again for several hours or overnight.
Finishing Touches
- Once fully frozen, carefully remove the ice from the mold, using lukewarm water if necessary.
- Place a tea light or LED candle securely in the center of your floral ice masterpiece.
Notes
Use distilled water for clearer ice without air bubbles. Select flowers that do well in ice and incorporate seasonal varieties for best results. Allow adequate freezing time for quality.
