Materials
  • 1 piece Pinecones the base of your ornament, cleaned
  • Emerald beads/crystals Emerald crystals or beads for sparkle and color
  • 1 bottle Clear-drying craft glue to attach crystals
  • 1 piece Ribbon or twine for hanging the ornament
  • 1 pair Scissors to cut the ribbon or twine
Tools
  • 1 piece Tweezers for placing small crystals
  • 1 piece Toothpick to apply glue in tight spots

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Clean your pinecone thoroughly to remove any dirt. Ensure it’s completely dry before adding any materials.
Design
  1. Arrange the emerald crystals on the pinecone to find your desired design before applying glue.
Assembly
  1. Using clear-drying craft glue, add a small amount of glue to one crystal at a time and press it onto the pinecone.
  2. Hold each crystal in place for a few seconds to ensure it adheres properly. Use tweezers for precision.
Finishing Touch
  1. Once the glue has dried completely, cut a piece of ribbon or twine to your desired length and attach it to the top of the pinecone.

Notes

Allow ample drying time for the glue. Various shades of emerald crystals can create different aesthetics. Use small amounts of glue to maintain a clean look.
